So this is our home life since december… lots of work but we are finally beginning the finition process. The wall color used to be brown and already with only one coat of primer I feel the positive effect on my mood ;-P FYI Gus doesn’t have the chickenpox, it’s only the result of a good idea of mine which was to bring some food coloring outside so we can do some experiment in the snow.
Pssst, go take a look at Michel’s 10 on 10!
Love the color on the walls . . . I can only imagine how happy you will be when it is finished. And the « chicken pox » photo cracked me up! Thanks for the explanation behind it.
I hear you on the reno’s, I haven’t had a kitchen in 4 months! love these shots especially the one of kiddo sitting on the stairs over-seeing the men working.
Love those floors! We’re toying with installing them in our home and I think this just pushed me over the edge! Beautiful light!
@ Laura I LOVE the bamboo… Get it!!
@ Michel 4 months… god… it’s been 3 weeks since I’m doing the dishes in the small sink of our bathroom… it’s hell!!
@ Jill White will be all over the place now.. what a change!
[…] head on over to see what Catherine Giroux has captured for her 10 on […]
Always a long process but so, so worth it!! Looks gorgeous & full of beautiful light! The ‘chicken pox’ picture is hilarious!
Your place is going to wonderful… all the chaos will make you love it even more xxx
mmm, love these!
i love how bright the room looks! we recently painted our living room white and it made such a huge difference. looks like you have crazy times going on with the reno, but it’s great that you have so many helpers (big and little)!
i love the white. the light is amazing, and when it’s all finished it will feel like a gift. i hope you can look back with nostalgia on the process. that poor child with the chicken pox! i feel for him, but know that this whole time will be a giant feast of crazy memories. i love seeing you with your son :) xo
Oh, the LIGHT!
I’m so jealous of your home renovation progress. So much to do here in mine. What a beautiful reminder this set will be someday when it’s all done and polished up. And the « chicken pox » photo is perfect.
